“Those who have a 'why' to live, can bear with almost any 'how'.” ― Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning
If you are reading this it could mean one of many things: you are browsing this webpage looking for a psychologist, you have been referred by a friend or professional, or you simply enjoy reading bios like these! Whatever the reason, I am glad you are here.
I consider myself a warm, empathetic, practical, and energetic person who truly enjoys meeting people where they are at with a non-judgemental focus. This means: come as you are, no need to act a certain way. Whether your mood is low or high, I am excited to meet you.
I have over 5 years of experience working with kids, teens, adults, and groups. I thoroughly enjoy working with different populations as it informs my approach. I am constantly learning from my clients' honesty, bravery, and hope, and am passionate about co-creating strategies for how to make life a little bit better. I am interested in what you are hoping to work on or get from therapy and how we can find ways to practice, experiment, and evaluate how to meet your needs. I use a number of different approaches that aim to understand what you are already doing that is helpful. Together we can build tools to support your individual needs.
The subject of psychology has always been an interest of mine and I have found working in the field to be congruent with my already outgoing personality. I knew after high school that I wanted to do this work and so I began working towards this profession: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University. I am a registered provisional psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
I am passionate about finding the right approach or the right support; so, in the case that the best fit is not with me I am happy to refer you to a broader community of supportive professionals that could meet your needs (here at Landry & beyond)!
The greatest piece of advice I've received:
"Be here now."
Something on my bucket list:
I have never asked myself this question! I love traveling to places I haven't been before and I would like to visit Japan.

I have a day totally to myself, with no obligations. Where would you find me?
Outside by some trees, in the mill creek ravine or a park somewhere!
Besides my work, a special skill of mine:
I like to laugh, I would consider my sense of humour a special skill... I am not sure how many people would agree with me lol!
