ADHD Assessments

This assessment is ideal for anyone seeking an objective measure of how their attention, memory, and learning may be negatively impacting their ability to function is daily tasks.

 

We provide Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments for children over the age of six, adolescents, and adults. This assessment determines whether a person meets diagnostic criteria for ADHD, and specifically identifies the type of ADHD (hyperactive, inattentive, or combined). It also provides insight about a person's auditory and visual processing, which gives us valuable information to support learning, memory, and task completion.

Your assessment will involve both a clinical interview about your history and symptoms, and two standardized computer tests that will objectively measure symptoms of ADHD. In the same appointment, your psychologist will answer any questions about your results and support you in your next steps - whether it be providing a specialized report requesting accommodations at school/work, informing whether to pursue medication through a physician, or referral to a mental health specialist that can help support you in your diagnosis and teach coping skills.
