Meet daniella
Real talk. Real growth. Real you.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or unsure where to start, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy can feel intimidating—but it doesn’t have to be. Creating a collaborative, trusting relationship is a top priority for me. I strive to offer a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and deeply empathetic, where you can show up exactly as you are—no pretending, no pressure.
I work with children (6–12), adolescents (13–18), and adults, including those navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, emotion regulation, stress, life transitions, peer and relationship issues, sport performance, bullying, separation and divorce, blended families, infidelity, and trauma. I’m especially passionate about supporting high-achievers and athletes through life’s unique pressures.
Clients often describe me as direct, motivating, and down-to-earth—with a sense of humour when it fits. Sessions with me feel more like a meaningful conversation than a clinical interrogation—think coffee with a trusted friend, paired with evidence-based tools and clear guidance. I believe people are resilient and capable of meaningful change, and my role is to walk alongside you while helping you reconnect with your strengths.

My approach is client-centered, integrating therapies such as DBT, EFT, Attachment Theory, EMDR, CBT, AAT, Art in Therapy, and Play in Therapy. I also have a strong interest in trauma-informed, dialectic, emotion-focused, and attachment-based work and regularly update my training to provide the most effective support for my clients.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from Concordia University of Edmonton and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me cheering on my 7-year-old competitive cheer and dance athlete, enjoying a good TV series, staying active, or exploring new restaurants around the city.
Come just as you are—I’d be honoured to support you on your journey.
The greatest piece of advice I've received:
"Stand up for yourself. Know your worth. Fight for what you believe in."
My mom’s words from childhood guide me in life, work, and supporting clients to find their voice.
Something on my bucket list:
A yoga retreat in Bali! I’ve traveled to 37 countries, but Bali is still calling my name.
My top 3 values:
Ambition. Courage. Wonder. The lens through which I live, work, and cheer on my clients.
If I was an animal I'd be...
A lion—strong, courageous, just, and fearless.
I have a day totally to myself, with no obligations. Where would you find me?
Pampering myself—nails, hair, and a long bath.
Besides my work, a special skill of mine:
Painting, drawing, or crafting.
My Myers-Briggs personality type:
ENFJ: The Protagonist empathetic, energetic, and passionate about making a difference.
Meet minnie
Hi! My name is Minnie and I am a beginning stage therapist-in-training here at Landry Psychology as I explore the world of animal assisted interventions and activities. I am a 10-month old TeaCup Pomeranian.
Did you know that animals in therapy can help you remain more present and feel more connected? More puppy cuddles, anyone? I am working slowly on becoming more in tune with human emotion and how to show you connection. I promise, I really am a great listener!
When I am not working on becoming a therapy dog, I love cuddling, belly rubs, and chasing my best friend Alessia around the house.
I work with Daniella on Saturdays! To learn more or schedule an appointment with us, please fill out the contact form below or call us at (780) 708-7335.
