Q&A with Rebecca Ings

Rebecca is a registered psychologist with Landry Psychology. She works with individuals of all ages, couples and families. She is a true expert in relationships and communication, and will meet you with her warm yet straight-forward style.

Why do you do this work?

I do this work because I enjoy people. I have a deep belief that we are better together than we are apart and I do this work in an effort to come together with people.

What is the #1 tip you are giving to people right now?

Be kind with yourself and others and don’t let or uncertainty lure you into impatience.

Where are you finding hope in these difficult times?

I think I am finding hope in the practice of being kind, noticing how people are allowing themselves to be vulnerable and therefore receive and offer kindness.

Who should book a session with you?

People who are processing what has happened and are interested in exploring what they want to do next!

How can I prepare for a session with you?

Come with some idea of what you hope to gain from counselling, even if all you can think of is “I want to feel better.”
